ACE is seeking proactive, responsible, and enthusiastic young adults committed to working 12 or 24 weeks (450 or 900 hours) on outdoor conservation projects.

The ACE AmeriCorps Member program engages and motivates young adults seeking to broaden their horizons and expand professional knowledge in the field of conservation.  Corps Members share interest in environmental conservation, as well as a passion for working and camping outdoors. As a stepping stone to future careers in land management, ACE provides career development and service learning opportunities, while providing challenging, life-changing experience.

However, applicants should expect the ACE project schedule to vary, including the possibility of participating on project for 4-6 weeks at a time. Crews should expect to camp while out on project. This hiring status is a major benefit of taking part in the conservation corps and helps support ACE's role as a partner in developing the next generation of land managers.
