YCCP Member - Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Planned Start Date: June 8th, 2022
Planned End Date: July, 19th, 2022
Living Allowance: $255/week
One goal of this program is to collect data that will help the park staff to better understand and protect the plants, animals, and other organisms that are in our care. A second goal is to provide the high school student interns with hands-on experience in a variety of field research techniques and education programs which will help them pursue a career in the sciences, resource management or resource education, should they so wish. It is also hoped that the interns will find the summer enjoyable and safe.
